Join us this May half term for a fun, hands-on activity that brings a little sunshine home with you!
We will be kicking things off with a decorating workshop, children will be given a terra cotta pot and materials to decorate. Once their masterpiece is complete, each child will fill their pots with compost and plant their own seeds, marking the beginning of their own growing journey.
But the fun doesn't stop there...
Each seed pack contains a paper tape measure to take home and measure your sunflower over the summer. Email your pictures to us, and we’ll share weekly updates on our social media, following the progress of your sunflowers. We’d love for families to join in too—share your photos, celebrate every sprout and bloom, and be part of something growing together.
Whether your sunflower shoots up tall or takes its time, this is all about creativity, patience, and a shared summer story. Prizes for the tallest sunflower, the largest diameter flower and the most conscientious little gardener (Parents we will need your progress updates for this one!) will be announced at the end of August. We cannot wait to see your sunflowers!
